Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Maxine Valencia hopes to make a positive impact in her community by connecting local couples with the best wedding vendors in the area. After working in higher education for more than 13 years, she felt inspired to run her own business and decided to take a leap of faith to bring Wed Society to El Paso and Mesilla Valley. Now, she can’t wait to help bring your wedding dreams to life!
Wed Society: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Maxine Valencia: I’m someone who thrives on building meaningful connections and creating memorable experiences. I’ve always been drawn to projects that allow me to combine my creativity and organizational skills. Outside of work, I’m passionate about God, my daughter Zariah, my family, friends, and the love for my community. I love LOVE. I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate love in such a meaningful and impactful way.

Maxine: My professional background spans in higher education, where I’ve honed my skills in leadership, project management, establishing partnerships, customer service, and having a positive impact on our community. My education and experience has prepared me for the exciting challenges of franchise ownership.
WS: What inspired you to become a Wed Society franchise owner?
Maxine: Becoming a Wed Society franchise owner felt like a perfect fit because it aligns with my passion for creating unforgettable moments and my entrepreneurial spirit. I was drawn to the brand’s reputation for their values, innovation, client focus, and community impact. Maxine: I’m most looking forward to building a business that not only brings couples’ dreams to life but also fosters a sense of community. I’m excited to contribute to Wed Society’s mission while growing both personally and professionally.
