Owner Spotlight: Q&A with Wed Society Greater Denver Area owner, Kim Ingino

A true love for weddings and the desire for a more creative outlet – that’s what sparked Kim Ingino to bring Wed Society to the greater Denver area. With a degree in fashion design and a background in sales and development, she saw an opportunity to use her skills to connect local couples with vetted top tier vendors. We sat down with Kim to learn more about her passion for the wedding industry.

Wed Society: Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Kim Ingino: I am a Colorado native who grew up in Boulder and after a handful of years in other states have been settled in Longmont for a long time now. I have 3 children, one of which is still somewhat at home while attending CSU, the other two are married and live close to my husband & I. Personally I love decorating, planning and hosting events, and I am always looking to plan my next trip as I love to travel.

WS: Tell us about your professional background?

Kim: I began my career as a retail manager, then moved into wholesale sales and have spent the last many years in tech sales and partnership development.

WS: What inspired you to become a Wed Society franchise owner?

Kim: I absolutely loved everything about my 2 children’s weddings and appreciate the work put in to create an exceptional experience for not just the couple but all the guests. That being said, while we had wonderful vendors some fell flat despite a lot of research. I believe Colorado to be such a wonderful place to hold a wedding with our variety of venues, styles, and options. Our market doesn’t have something quite like Wed Society, I believe our approach will be a game changer for our vendors and couples. I want to build an incredible community of top tier wedding vendors who support each other and give couples the piece of mind where they can trust our curated community to choose the best for their big day.

WS: What are you most looking forward to in your ownership journey?

Kim: I am looking forward to meeting with and building great relationships with the wedding vendor community, both the legacy as well as the new. I have already met many up and coming vendors who, with the right partner behind them, will soon be highly sought after by our market.  I am also anticipating many happy couples who are grateful we began this journey for the Greater Denver market.
